New in Kindle+: November 2026

A note about names: I liked when Amazon called it Kindle Unlimited because "New in KU" was a nice rhyming title for this blog feature. So of course, Amazon changed to Kindle+ because there's apparently a rule that every online subscription service has to have a plus sign in it. My efforts to come up with a new catchy blog title have so far come to naught; "The Latest Fuss in Kindle+" didn't pass the laugh test. So I'm sticking with the boring "New in Kindle+" for now, but stay tuned.
Anyway, here are my November picks:

I love a good team-up where the members support each other, and this looks like it has potential for that. Four people from different magical worlds—a dragonrider, a princess, a knight, and a woman searching for her lost brother—are brought together to battle mysterious forces. Reviews so far commend the world-building and the character-driven plot. A series starter.

If a coming-of-age story with a resourceful female protagonist sounds like your kind of read (and it does to me), this might be for you. Eskarina has the rare magical gift of evocation, creating magical objects with song and voice. Music, magic and a journey of self-discovery make a promising combination. Also, the cover looks amazing. A series starter.

There's a corner of the fantasy universe where Conan-style classic sword & sorcery and oat-opera Westerns intersect. This looks like one of those tales. A swordsman leads a motley group through a desert landscape with treachery afoot. Could be great, could be cheesy, could be both. The start of a series, but the author promises all stand-alones (a plus if you hate cliffhangers).

Another promising magical coming-of-age tale. A resourceful 15-year-old orphan with a previously unknown magical talent is is forced to leave his home, join the Adventurers Guild, and what he's capable of. One reviewer says it "reminds me of some of the great authors of old who knew how to write a story." Looks like a series starter.

This has all the hallmarks of classic sword-and-sorcery, and it features some tropes I love: found family, loyal friendships, hidden powers, and a solid magic system. First in an 8-book series; the first 4 are out now, the rest are promised by the end of the year, and all are or will be on Kindle+, so if you get hooked it looks like a safe bet.
That's it for November. These are going on my TBR and I'll post full reviews of the ones I like (life's too short to review books I don't enjoy).
I have to go take down some Halloween decorations now before the neighbors start complaining. Might already be too late.
As always, never stop reading!
